It’s kind of unfair that Valentine’s Day is usually all about us — women. We expect beautiful roses, boxes of chocolates, romantic gestures and thoughtful presents. Well, when it comes to it, maybe it’s time to put some effort and do something for your significant other. Here is a list of things that your special someone may want for Valentine’s Day.

1. Surprise him and get flowers! Let’s break rules and traditions. Who said that guys don’t want flowers?

2. If you can cook, you can always make him a nice dinner. If you can bake, everyone loves a homemade pie!

3. Making him a comic book with him as the main superhero. This worked for both Anna on “The O.C.” and Pam on “The Office.” So that’s always a solid original option.

4. If you’re crafty, make something with your hands. A knitted scarf will keep him warm; a nice painted cooler will keep his beer cold.

5. Get some promiscuous lingerie. It’s a present for you both! And who doesn’t like that?

If you don’t like any of those ideas, don’t fret. In the end, Valentine’s Day is all about love. So whatever you got planned for your better half, I bet he or she will enjoy it.
