It seems like everywhere you turn someone is on Tinder…or at least talking about it. In every friend group, there is that one girl who met her latest boyfriend on Tinder and couldn’t be happier. But when you go to a school the size of Fairfield, using a dating app like Tinder can be an interesting experience. So here are some pros and cons to using Tinder at a smaller school.
Pro: You can (most likely) count on them not being creepy catfishers, because you have at least five mutual friends.Con: You probably already know them or least know of them…
Pro: You might actually meet some new people.Con: The chances of running into your recent Tinder match at most inconvenient times, like walking to your 8 am or coming back from the gym, are very high.
Pro: If you do want to meet up they’re probably within walking distance.Con: You can match with someone one night, and walk to your history class the next day and find them sitting next to you … awkward.
Pro: You can weed out all the guys you know are unavailable because they have a girlfriend.Con: You have to swipe left to the really cute guy, because his girlfriend is in your group project.
Pro: You can walk into a town house party to find the cute guy that just messaged you already there.Con: He’s the one who just punched a hole in the wall
