The knitted headband is an accessory that doesn’t get enough credit, in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong; hats are awesome—I love my beanies to no end—but hat hair is not awesome and is a very real struggle. Headbands might mess up your hair a little but definitely not to the extent of a hat. And, sometimes you just don’t feel like wearing a hat but still want to be warm.
You also can’t sport an up-do with a hat but a cute knitted headband will allow you to totally rock that top knot and keep your ears warm while you’re at it. This is also the reason why I, as a girl with short hair, find these headbands to be indispensable to my winter wardrobe; my ears are get so cold without hair shielding them from the elements.
Along with being practical, they’re also super cute and versatile. A lot of them feature knit flowers or cool knitting patterns. You can also put pins or brooches on them for a little personalization. Hey, if you have any skill in knitting or crocheting you can make your own!
Keep your ears toasty and hair styles on point this winter with a cute little knitted headband!
