Last Thursday KISS’s Mikey and Big Bob held another Penguins’ Freak Show section at their game versus the Columbus Blue Jackets. Tons of dedicated fans took over section 120 decked out in costumes such as Batman, “Dunkin’” Donuts, and Aquaman. Fans won tickets by using #FSPensSection and tweeting why they should be in the section and I was lucky enough to win!
Throughout the game the section started the wave, started “Crosby” and “Fleury” chants, and chirped the opposing goalie Curtis McElhinney by yelling things such as “Macklehiney still uses a flip phone.” Overall the fans gave the crowd a new energy and really pumped everyone up!
Unfortunately the Penguins would lose 2-1, but the Freak Show section was still a huge success!
