Meet Celestina Gjokhila

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNF chapter.

It’s time to introduce another UNF Her Campus team member! The HC writer focuses mainly on features and blogs, and writes regularly for HC. But more than that, she is constantly coming up with ways to promote HC UNF, and thinking up giveaway ideas! (Can someone say Spring Break Survival Kit?)

Name: Celestina Gjokhila

Major: Criminal Justice

School Year: Junior

Her Campus Job Title: Writer/Contributor

HC: Who is your favorite author?

CG: George Orwell.

HC: What has been your biggest challenge?

CG: Going through college, but that’s okay because I know that it’ll all be worth it.

HC: University or life experience: which do you feel best prepares you for life?

CG: A good mixture of both. I’ve learn common sense from life and book smarts from university.

HC: How would your friends describe you?

CG: As a happy and energetic person!

HC: What do you feel most proud of?

CG: I am most proud of the people who surround me; my friends and my loved ones are people who are full of love and I wouldn’t want anything more.

HC: Who do you most admire in life?

CG: My family and friends. My parents taught me to be kind and caring, but never let anyone cheat me because of those qualities. My friends taught me that you don’t have to be blood related to love each other.

HC: What attracted you to writing for Her Campus?

CG: One of my best friends, Maya. She’s an amazing and beautiful person, she’s been a Her Campus celebrity before. Go check it out!

HC: What are your plans for after graduation?

CG: I’m hoping to get a job either at FDCF or Daniel, Memorial, Inc. in community based care.

HC: What’s one piece of advice that you could give to those who are still in college?

CG: Do your homework! I can’t stress that enough. Sometimes if you’re not doing well on tests, homework can be the point that can boost you one letter grade.

My name is Maya Dartiguenave, and I am a senior at the University of North Florida. I'm a communications major, with a focus in public relations. Reading, writing, anything to do with words is what holds my true interest, which is why I'm so happy to be a part of Her Campus! I'm so excited to have started UNF's chapter of Her Campus! While I claim to be a Florida girl for now, my heart belongs to Philadelphia, always. (Go, Eagles!) I hope to move away from Florida after graduation, work my way through grad school, and begin my career in publishing. The future is definitely going to be an adventure, and I can't wait for it!
