Spring Break Style Guide

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Tufts chapter.

March 13th seems so close, yet so far away. Spring break is almost here, and many Collegiettes will be taking trips to the beach, to a ski resort, or maybe just to their couch at home. No matter where you end up on spring break, do you know what you’ll be wearing? This spring break season, bright colors and Boho styles are the way to go. Here is some inspiration for your spring break travels.

Beach/Island Getaway:

A sheer-white swim cover up is perfect for hanging out by the pool or for putting on when you go to grab lunch. Want a little more coverage? Pair high-waisted jean shorts with an unbuttoned white top and oversized sunglasses for an effortless beach look.

Ski Trip:

When you’re hanging around the ski lodge after you’ve hit the slopes, tuck a pair of black leggings into furry snow boots. Complete the look with an oversized sweater or long sleeve tee, fur (or faux fur) vest, and some gold accessories. You’ll be cozy and chic while you sit by the fire sipping hot cocoa.

Europe:

Nothing says chic European traveler like a completely black ensemble. Layer different textures, such as sweaters and leather, and grab an oversized black leather carryall to hold everything you might need for a day of European exploration.

Home:

Staying home over spring break? A simple white t-shirt, flannel, and beanie create a pulled-together look that’s cute enough for going out to lunch and comfortable enough for a movie night on the couch with friends.
