This week’s Cutie, Kristen Bossio, is one of the most genuinely kind people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. You’ll recognize her from this year’s productions of Sylvia, Child Soldier, and Measure for Measure, and can often see her bouncing around campus. She hails from Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and is a Computer Science and Creative Arts double major.
What’s your favorite movie? Tangled
Song? I’ve been listening to Taylor Swift’s new album a lot (Sidenote: Me: Yaaaaaaaasss).
Food? Ice Cream! Okay, what flavor? Cookie dough or cookies and cream. Toppings? Whipped cream, chocolate sauce, sprinkles, chocolate chips, brownies, and fruit if it’s vanilla flavored! Cone or bowl? Bowl (more room for toppings).
Who is your favorite teacher? Dr. Reno. I liked working with him so much during Snow Queen (last year’s musical) that I joined chorus this year.
What’s your favorite class? Acting I, with Paul Ricciardi who is unfortunately no longer a teacher here.
Favorite production that you’ve done here? Sylvia or Measure for Measure, but like the second half of Measure for Measure. The first half was too stressful.
What are some of your aspirations? To have a lot of dogs. (After a minute of thinking: I don’t even have any life goals, what am I? Don’t write that!) I do have life goals, I just can’t name them… I really do like video editing, so I’d like to have a lot of dogs, and be good at video editing (while I pet my dogs). I also want to travel.
What don’t you leave home without? A stuffed animal. I’m not kidding, I have a stuffed sloth in my backpack right now!
What has been your best experience here? I really like Trashion Fashion; winning last year was great.
What’s something you want to do before you graduate? I’d like to go on a trip with all of my friends.
Any advice for incoming freshmen? Join clubs and make friends! If you’re ever feeling really down, send yourself a stuffed animal. When you open your mailbox and see it in there it might make you smile!
What is something others may find surprising about you? What you see is what you get. Not really, I’m pretty secretive. I’ve read the Harry Potter series 14 times, I’ve watched Friends front to back three times, and I’ve met Big Time Rush three times.
Any last comments? Sign up for Trashion Fashion! Promote that!
