Her Campus: What activities are you involved in at Brandeis?

Emily Weisfeld: I’m on Banshee and have a radio show!

HC: What are your plans for spring break?

EW:  I am abroad in Sydney right now so I’ve been on a four month long spring break.

HC: Why’d you choose to study abroad in Sydney?

EW: I decided to study in Sydney because the weather’s great, it’s really fun, and I didn’t know when I would be in Australia otherwise.

HC: What’s the best adventure you’ve been on down there?

EW: Best adventure has been snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef!

HC: Describe your ideal date.

EW: I ‘d have to say April 25th. Because it’s not too hot, not too cold, all you need is a light jacket. Just kidding, anything adventurous.

HC:  Deal breakers?

EW: Anything goes.

HC: What’s something about you that most people wouldn’t expect:

EW: Emily is my middle name, my first name is Samantha.

HC: What are the most used apps on your phone?

EW: I’m terrible with technology so I pretty much stick to whatsapp and snapchat.

HC: When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

EW: A mermaid.

HC: What’s your dream job now?

EW: That’s a good question…

HC: What’s your favorite little known spot on campus?

EW: The reservoir (I know it’s not on campus).

HC: Turn ons?

EW: Tall, blonde and handsome.

HC: Turn offs?

EW: Too smart, warm eyes, doesn’t dress to the nines, or stubborn.

Fast Facts:

Celebrity crush: 50 Cent.

Favorite 50 Cent song: Candy Shop.

Favorite Disney movie: Mulan.

Favorite class at Brandies: UWS- why isn’t there a major?

I am a double major in Anthropology and International/Global Studies with a minor in Creativity, the Arts, and Social Transformation at Brandeis University. As a native Southern Californian, I have a born passion for avocados and an innate dread of cold weather. In my free time I love cooking (with avocados of course), drawing and writing.
