Festival season is officially here – and that means the oh-so-famous Coachella is just around the corner. Pretty much every one is going…except for you. This pretty much sums up the experience of being that person who isn’t going to the event of the season.

1. Everyone asks if you’re going…and you have to explain (yet again) that you aren’t.

2. Even if they don’t blatantly say it, their reactions make it obvious that they feel bad for you.

3. You have to explain every single time why you aren’t going.

4. After enough times, you even ask yourself why you aren’t going. “Wait, why am I not going again?!

5. Every store is taunting you with cute festival clothes that you want to buy.

6. Thus, you have to convince yourself that you would have nowhere to wear the clothes to.

7. People complain about missing campus events because they have to go to Coachella over the weekend, and you’re just like…

8. But hey, at least you have an extra $300 in your pocket that you can spend on a bunch of other things! …Right?
