The Semicolon Project

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.
The semi-colon project is a movement dedicated to presenting hope and love to those struggling with depression, self harm, addiction, and suicide. People everywhere show their support by drawing a semicolon on their wrist on April 16th.  For anybody struggling, this day is for you.  Know that your story is important and that you are not alone.

“The semi-colon is used when an author could have ended their sentence, but decided not to. You are the author and the sentence is your life.”
