When is your birthday? December 9. The worst part is that it falls during finals week every year.

Major: I’m a dual major in early childhood and special education.
Why did you choose your major? I would like to help children because they are the world’s future and education is very important.

Why did you choose Millersville? The education program at Millersville is of higher quality than the program back home and at many other schools.
What do you like to do with your friends on weekends? Since I’m an RA, I’m on campus constantly. I like to get away from campus to the mall or even Lancaster City.
Where is your favorite place to shop for clothing and accesories? I love thrift store shopping. You will be surprised how many cute things you can find for a good price at local and chain run thrift stores.
What is your favorite accessory to include in your daily outfits? I love to add a cardigan when I can or even an infinity scarf. They are perfect for adding a little pop to your outfit.
What organizations are you involved in? I am a part of Study Buddies, a tutor program for local kids, and the Student Pennsylvania State Education Association (S-PSEA) which is for education majors.
Do you have a job? I’m an RA in Diehm.
Who is your celebrity crush? Ed Sheeran! He is so adorable. My favorite song of his right now is “Thinking Out Loud.”
What is your favorite thing to do on your own time? I love running at home and on campus. My favorite route is behind the school through the golf course, as well as through campus and in our gym on the track. I am also a part of a running group called MEAN GUY Running.
How did you get involved with MEAN GUY Running? I got involved through my former pre-algebra teacher who is now my sister’s co-worker. He encouraged us to join so we could take advantage of the awesome deals and events he hosts.

What’s your favorite memory of college so far? Breaking out of my comfort zone and becoming an RA. So many amazing memories have come out of it!
What will you miss the most about your college career? Having someone cook my meals for me and clean my bathroom! After I graduate and have my own home, I will have to do this all for myself so I am taking advantage of this now!
Where is your favorite place on campus? My sister is an alumni here and I am soon on the path to graduation. Our favorite place on campus is the pond. We take a new picture every year by it.
What do you plan to do after graduation? Get a full time teaching position, marry my high school sweetheart and start a family.
Do you live by a motto or quote about anything for daily life? I love the quote “Do what makes you happy!” I try to live by this because you can’t spend your whole life trying to make everyone else happy.
What is your favorite animal? My favorite animals are penguins. They are so interesting and just so adorable. You may say I am obsessed. I have stuffed penguin, penguin cups and even clothing with penguins on them.
