Kaitlin Bradford ’17

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at CNU chapter.

Name: Kaitlin Bradford

Major: Psychology

Year: Sophomore

Hometown: Herndon, VA

Relationship Status: “Haha. Obviously single!”

On Campus Involvement:

“Well, starting next year I’ll be on E-board for Alpha Phi Omega (APO), I’ll be leading a spring break trip for REACH, I’m on the marketing team for CAB, and I’ll be a Front Desk Assistant in James River Hall.”

What are you most looking forward to in summer 2015?

“I’m most looking forward to having free time so I can just do my own thing whether it’s sleeping in every day, binge watching Netflix, or just getting the chance to be outside and not having to see people I know.”

What are you currently binge watching on Netflix?

“Currently I’m watching “House,” and I like to say I’m a little like House but that’s probably not a good thing.”

What do you love about CNU?

“My favorite thing is just the people. Everyone is really nice. It’s always great to hear people’s stories, like where they come from and what their beliefs and ideas are, and learning more about who I am based off other people.”

Do you have a favorite quote?

“I feel like I have to look it up… probably just something from “Parks and Rec”…

‘I have never taken the high road. But I tell other people to ‘cause then there’s more room for me on the low road.’ – Tom Haverford”

What would your dream job be?

“My dream job would be doing something with a nonprofit in another country.”

Is there a specific organization you have in mind?

“Not really – I’d be up for anything. Service is just a big part of my life and I think I’d be doing a lot more if I went to another country and saw what was going on there, and just figured out where I was needed.”

Why do you like serving others?

“I feel like I just grew up that way and my parents told me to respect and help others. It’s important to take care of yourself but also other people, so whenever you get the chance, you should.”

Is there anything else you want people to know about you?

“If I were to win some sort of award at CNU, it would be for best sock collection.”

Do you want to elaborate?

“I just have really great socks. My favorite pair is my flamingo pair which I wear often. I love birds. And birds on socks.”
