As I sat down with Ellyson on one of the two persons only tables near the Davis Café, I was still drowsy from just waking up from a nap but was immediately woken up by her zest. Siblings: One older brother who also went to Davidson.
Pets: “Cat and a dog, they don’t get along, and dad is allergic to cats, she’s not allowed in the house much.”
Favorite Pastimes: “Watching movies and listening to music and also hanging out with friends. Got to put something in there to make me seem social.”
Favorite Davidson experience (so far): “Last year in Chorale, we went on a tour during winter break to Ireland. “ Well Dzzayuummm

Favorite Commons Meal: “Commons Thanksgiving, pretty bae, mostly the dessert bar.” Dessert is bae.
Spirit Animal: “My group of friends back home are pretty sure I’m a fox, but a lot of my friends here are sure it’s a cat. But the mannerisms are pretty much the same.”
Study Abroad: “Studied abroad in Scotland last semester at the University of St. Andrews where Will and Kate met. But that didn’t have anything to do with why I went. Just a fun fact.”
Dream Job: “I would probably love being a screen writer for a TV show, like a show on HBO because there’s more freedom in the collaborative creative process.”
Guilty pleasure: “Part of me doesn’t believe in guilty pleasures because you like what you like. But if I did; I find trashy magazine articles and celebrity gossip something I pay attention to for reasons unkown.”
Favorite Disney movie: “Classic Disney or Disney Pixar? Cause for Classic Disney I love “Hercules” and “Mulan.” They both have the best music. For Disney Pixar it’s “The Incredibles” and “Up.””
Favorite Color: “Purple and blue, like navy blue and royal purple specifically.” All shades of royalty here.
Fun Fact: “My parents met in an English class at Davidson because they were also English majors. My grandfather came here and was a math professor here.” You would think that with all the family here she would choose a different college, but naw.
