Stepping Into Boot Season

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Winona chapter.

In preparation for fall and all the cozy outfits that come with it, I wanted to share with you 5 stylish boots with some outfit ideas. The outfit possibilities are endless so this will just give you a little inspiration and head start for the fall season.

1. These wedge ankle boots are great! You can always find an occasion to wear them because they can be both casual and dressy. They are very cute to wear with dresses and skits, but also look very classy paired with some jeans, as shown in the picture. The best part about these booties is that they are from Target along with a lot more colors and stylish options.

2. Riding boots paired with jeans or leggings. This is a look I think is very comfortable. Everyone is able to pull it off too, from tweens in middle school to senior citizen. Most importantly the simple look of riding boots makes it look like you didn’t just roll out of bed.

3. Tall Boots with Taller Socks. This look is perfect for those super cold days when all you want to do is pile on more layers. This is a look that’s fun to wear with a dress, tights, leggings, jeans, skirts, etc. Do your own experimenting with this one!

4. Rain boots are great for fall, winter and spring. They may not keep your feet completely warm, but they sure are cute. They are easy to wear with jeans and leggings. They add a little splash to a casual sweatshirt kind of day. So break your rainy day boots out and jump in a puddle.

5. The shortest boot, with the most versatility: the bootie. They can make your legs look longer, for example if you have black pants on with black booties. They can be worn with little socks, barefoot, with skirts, dresses, shorts, jeans…ect. They come in many styles as well: suede, leather, tassels, studs…ect again! Every boot lover knows that the bootie is an essential for fall.

These boots are made for walking, so walking’s what I’ll do, Fall’s around the corner so I better look s’cute!
