Other than being a beautiful blonde and all-around awesome person, Senior Nursing major Kelsey Graver from Reading, Pennsylvania is the new and improved Vice President of York College’s Campus Activities Board. It all started seven semesters ago, when Kelsey first got into CAB. “I wanted to continue my event-planning involvement at a collegiate level since I started from middle school and high school activities.”
When asked about how it feels to be the new Vice President, Kelsey answered with, “I am honored to serve the York College community as the Vice President of the Campus Activities Board. Seeing the pure excitement and joy on my peer’s faces as they attend CAB-sponsored events makes all the hard work and late nights totally worth it.”
As for her aspirations for the organization she would hope to have attendance continue to grow as she programs interesting events for the campus. As for the Cabbies themselves, Kelsey hopes to develop the necessary leadership qualities that will follow them to the workforce and beyond. Oh…and also to have fun! Â
Like all amazing people named Kelsey, her celebrity inspiration is T-Swift! (Yaas girl).
“Not only are we from the same hometown, but we share similar work ethics. Taylor’s endless devotion to her endeavors is the momentum to all of her successes…and that is something I can respect.”
Other than being VP, Kelsey is also an Orientation Coordinator and a Career Peer Assistant at the Career Development Center. A quote she lives by is this: “Believe in yourself so strongly that the world can’t help but to believe in you too.”
If you ever want to ask questions about CAB, you can find her either at the next Wings and Trivia or in the CAB office in the lower level of the Student Union! Congrats Kelsey on your new position! You’re going to do great things :)
