Hey collegiates!

This weekend was the monthly Taste the World event in Lancaster City, organized and run by Timm Wenger. Taste the World is officially held the second Friday in Lancaster during the months of May through October. Her Campus volunteered at this event. The theme this Friday was Soups and Sandwiches. Eight different restaraunts participated, inclusing the new Silantra! The other restaurants were: Tellus360, Rachel’s Creperie, B Peace Cafe, Arabian Knight, Spyro Gyros, Flora’s, and La Dolce Vita. Taste the World is a wonderful volunteer opportunity in which F&M students frequently participate. It provides the chance for everyone inovolved (volunteers and those who purchase tickets) to experience the various types of restaurant options in Lancaster. One to three greeters will stand at each restaurant station, waiting for ticketholders to come to that restaurant for their sample of the food. Tickets usually sell out and this weekend was no exception! Once again, it was an experience that was wonderful to be involved in!
