Her Campus (HC): So Rashard, what is your ideal date?

Rashard Johnson (RJ): I would like to go somewhere with good vibes, maybe go out to a hookah bar? Somewhere we can dance, with good music and good food.

HC: If you only had ten dollars for a date night where would you go?

RJ: I would say Chick-fil-a! We can get the medium size number one because ten dollars can’t get us the large option.

HC: If you had unlimited money, where would you take your date?

RJ: We would go to Trio Mec. It’s a beautiful restaurant out in California with a beautiful view of the beach!

HC: What do you look for in a potential partner?

RJ: I want someone who catches my eye and stimulates my mind.

HC: So what’s more important: looks or personality?

RJ: Personality is definitely more important because you can have “the look” but if you don’t have good conversation, then you’re pointless because I can’t see a future with that.

HC: If you had a signature pick-up line, what would it be?

RJ: Okay, I’ll ask her to “feel my shirt”. Once she feels my shirt, I’ll say:

“You know what type of material that is?”

Her: “What?”

Rashard: “Boyfriend Material”

HC: What do you think is most challenging when trying to get a potential partner’s attention?

RJ: Not coming off to too strong or “thirsty.”

HC: What advice would you give an interested person who was intimidated to approach you?

RJ: You shouldn’t be intimidated at all. I’m the most free-flowing, nicest person you’ll ever meet. Feel free to approach me and say anything, even if it’s just, “hey I like your shoes.” Once you start talking to me, we can talk forever!

HC: What are your involvements on campus?

RJ: The Black Student Union, Orientation Leader and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society.

HC: And you’re also apart of C.A.R.E.? How has C.A.R.E. impacted your FSU experience?

RJ: C.A.R.E. was my first stepping stone at FSU. It prepared me after my first summer at FSU. I met so many people and made my closest friends through C.A.R.E. It made the process easier.

HC: What would you say is your most rewarding experience at FSU?

RJ: Just being able to go to class because a lot of people are dying to be here (at FSU) and just to say I’m a representation of FSU is the most rewarding experience of them all.

HC: If you could leave anything about yourself at FSU, what would it be?

RJ: I want be that person that after I leave, people still remember me or talk about my achievements. I would like to leave a marketing name or be placed in the hall of fame so people can remember me.

HC: What are your career goals?

RJ: I want to be a sports agent. My backup plan is to be a general manager for a football or basketball team.

HC: Where do you see yourself in seven years?

RJ: I want a family with a loving wife, beautiful children, and living somewhere large; the so-called “good life.”

HC: In ten years, what will you miss most about FSU?

RJ: The environment of being young in college because when you graduate everyone goes their separate ways.

HC: Is there any closing information that you would like the readers of Her Campus to know?

RJ: I’m one of the most down to earth people you’ll ever meet; I’m very friendly and very kind. I’m open to new friendships and adventure. If you see me on campus, don’t be afraid to speak.
