Grool… I meant to say cool but then I started to say great.

Everyone knows October 3 is the day Aaron Samuels asked Cady Heron what day is was. But lots of other cool things happened on this day too!

October 3, 1863 – Abraham Lincoln declared the last Thursday in November as Thanksgiving Day. My family and my full stomach thank you, Abe.

October 3, 1955 – The TV show “Mickey Mouse Club” first premiered. Where would we be without Mickey Mouse? Or worse, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake and Ryan Gosling, who all got their start on the show.

October 3, 1969 – Gwen Stefani was born. She’s not a regular mom; she’s a cool mom.

October 3, 1992 – President Barack Obama married First Lady Michelle Robinson Obama. *Awwww*

October 3, 2001 – The first Apple iPod was introduced.

October 3, 2015 – “Saturday Night Live” Season 41 premieres at 11:30 p.m. on NBC.

October 3, (every year) – National “Mean Girls” Day! Don’t forget to celebrate!
