With Halloween quickly approaching, many people are excitedly planning their costumes for a night of fun, tricks and treats. However, many people are stuck in between a rock and a hard place; they want a fun outfit for All Hallow’s Eve, yet they do not want to break the bank by purchasing one. Fortunately, there is a solution! Disneybounding, a dress-up trend that children and adults alike can participate in, is essentially wearing normal clothing in certain color schemes to mimic the appearance of a Disney character. It’s affordable, fun and you can do it any day of the year, not just for Halloween! The beauty part about Disneybounding is that you can be as subtle or as obvious as you choose. There is no right or wrong way to go about it.

Disneybounding was created in 2012 by Leslie Kay, who runs a Tumblr dedicated to the trend. There, she posts photos of different outfit combinations and links to purchase each piece of clothing featured in the ensembles. New outfits are updated daily, so you can practically never run out of options to inspire you!

The clothing can be inspired by Disney villains, princesses, princes, theme park attractions and more. Chances are, if you love a certain aspect of Disney, there is a Disneybound already based off of it. However, if there is not, you can always create one for yourself! So, what are you waiting for? Get out there in your Disney themed gear and make this Halloween the best one yet!
