1. Who is your Hollywood crush and why? “Donald Trump’s hair because it’s the realest.”

2. Could you describe your ideal date for us? “I think simplicity is key. An ideal date would be having a great conversation over mojitos or horchatas and an assortment of tacos at a taqueria. It’s fun, it’s messy and I can pull out my Spanish 1000 knowledge: ¿Hola? ¿Es a mi a quien estás buscando?”

3. Can you tell us something your friends don’t know about you? “A few of my friends already know this but I juggled tennis balls to the Pirates of the Caribbean theme song during my sixth grade talent show. If they were giving out prizes, I’m pretty sure I would’ve won first place.”

4. How do you spend a typical day at YorkU? “If I’m not in class, you can usually find me devouring a poutine in some corner of York Lanes.”

5. Who is your role model in life and why? “Corazon Aquino because she was a badass, resilient and brave underdog who changed a nation. I hope to one day accomplish at least half of what she was able to do in her lifetime.”

6. What would you like to be doing in 5 years? What are your long-term future goals? “Five years from now, I’d like to be able to order a Chipotle burrito bowl with guacamole without having to check my bank account first.”

7. What qualities do you think make you My Campus Cutie? “I is kind. I is smart. I is important.”

8. What are your feelings on being selected as Her Campus YorkU’s Campus Cutie? “Being selected as Campus Cutie is undoubtedly going to change my life. This is an incredible feeling – to be idolized and deeply loved by my peers. I will cherish this moment forever.”

9. Any advice for freshmen to survive university life? “You’re wasting your time in university if all you’re taking is bird courses. Take classes that interest you and will make you learn new things.”
