In Memory of Mr. Jon Lewis
Mr. Jon Lewis was an intrigual part of the Ball State Dining team, taking the position as director in 2006. With a vision toward creating a modern campus dining service, Mr. Lewis was a key leader in the growth and development of the food services department at the university.
This past July, Mr. Lewis was recognized with the highest individual honor awarded in the collegiate dining community when The National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) presented him with the 2015 Theodore W. Minah Distinguished Service Award, which annually recognizes one individual who has made exemplary and enduring contributions to the advancement of the foodservice industry.
Outside of his 40-year foodservice career, Mr. Lewis was active in the Muncie Rotary Club, serving as president in 2013.
