Ahhh, Frenchmen Street. I must say, it’s one of my favorite places to (safely!) explore while in Marigny, near the French Quarter. There’s just a magical vibe; I think it’s a combo of the soulful music, eye-catching art, (like the doors pictured above) and the happiness radiated by fellow streetgoers. I was lucky enough to click my camera at the right time- I didn’t plan on the little boy running in front of me, but his youthfullness captures everything Frenchmen is about: radiant exhileration.Â
