Meet this week’s campus celebrity, our very own, Melissa Iaria. Aside from being one of my best friends, Melissa is also a fabulous member of our HC team. You can typically find Melissa binge-watching Netflix or hanging out with her friends! Read on to learn a bit more about her!

What activities are you involved in on campus?
MI: “I am a member of the Her Campus chapter here at Oneonta! I am also part of the English honor society, and the Alpha Phi Omega community service fraternity.”
What is something that most people don’t know about you?
MI: “Well, my birthday is on pi day- but that’s not really that cool.”
What is one of your favorite things to do on campus?
MI: “Ummmmm…probably hang out with my friends.”
If you were any food, what would you be?
MI: “I don’t know, maybe pizza because everyone loves a nice slice of pizza.”
If you could be best friends with any celebrity, who would you pick and why?
MI: “Beyoncé because she is fabulous.”
Why did you choose to come to Oney?
MI: “Because it’s a really good school for my major and I thought the campus was really pretty.”
If you won 1 million dollars what would you buy?
MI: “Hmmm, I would buy a vacation house in Europe. I would also buy a private jet so that I could go anywhere I wanted at any time.”
What is your least favorite part about Oneonta?
MI: “The freezing temperatures in the winter.”
