Major: History with an English minor

When did you start playing basketball? “I started playing basketball in high school because I was taller than the average kid.”

What position do you play on the Molloy basketball team? “I usually play wing/small forward.”

Who is your favorite team to play against? “I like to play against Bridgeport because the game tends to be more competitive and exciting than the other games.”

How did it feel to win the slam dunk contest? “It felt cool. I did not really expect it at all.”

How tall are you? “I’m around 6’3″.”

Who is your favorite team to watch? “I like to watch the Brooklyn Nets play.”

Who is your favorite basketball player? “My favorite basketball palyer would have to be Russell Westbrook.”

Do you see yourself playing pro-ball after college? “Nope, I actually would like to go off to law school after I’m done at Molloy.”

Who is your inspiration for basketball? “Never really was inspired by anyone to play. I first used it as a way to work out and release some stress and tension.”

What’s your most interesting basketball injury? “I jammed a few fingers and twisted both my ankles, but besides that I really haven’t gotten a serious injury (knock on wood.)”

Angela is a Media Communications major with a New Media minor at Molloy College. She is also a writer for Her Campus Molloy and photographer for Molloy Life Media. When she is not testing out her photography skills or writing an new piece, Angela can be found hanging out with her friends or watching Netflix. She is very excited to continue working with all her fellow Her Campus staff members through the next few years while finishing up her degree at Molloy College.
