Family Weekend

Family Weekend is around the corner! In case you need some ideas for how to entertain your family, here are a few activities happening on campus this weekend.

1. A Capella Concert

Support your friends, entertain your parents, and enjoy some great music all at the same time! The concerts are Friday and Saturday night at 9:30pm in the Chapel.

2. Sports Games

Stop by the soccer, football, water polo, cross-country, and field hockey home games this Saturday and show some love for our sports teams.

3. Choir and Dance Concert

Support the Hamilton College Choir and the Dance and Movement Studies department in their combined Family Weekend concert on Friday at 7:30pm and Saturday at 1:30pm in Wellin Hall.

4. Tour of Current Exhibitions

Go check out the new exhibitions at the Wellin Art Museum including “Karen-Hampton: The Journey North” and “Rene Stout: Tales of a Conjure Woman.” You can also go on a guided tour on Saturday at 3pm.

5. CAB Movie: Minions

If you are looking for a family-friendly activity, go see the Minions movie in KJ 125 Friday at 7pm or Saturday at 1:30pm.

6. Cider Mill

Need to get off campus? Go to the cider mill in downtown Clinton for some yummy cider donuts, apples, and apple cider.

7. Glen Walk

If you can’t find an event happening on campus, take your family for a walk through the Glen and enjoy the fall foliage.

8. CAB Comedy

Need a pick-me-up? Get some laughs at the CAB Comedy Show Friday October 23rd at 8pm in the Fillius Events Barn. Enjoy performances by Yodapez and Improv Shmimprov.

9. Errands

Take your parents off campus and stock up on food, toiletries, or any other dorm necessities you may have ran out of.

10. Tour of Campus

Show your parents around campus! Your family will love being able to envision you in your room, Commons, or class.
