Kendall Jenner Admits Acne Made Her Really Self-Conscious

Let’s face it, if we had to choose one word to associate with Kendall Jenner, it would be flawless. However, according to the supermodel, this is not the case! Kendall opened up about her struggle with acne as a teenager on her app earlier this week.

“Where it really impacted me was how self-conscious I became about it,” the starlet revealed. “I wouldn’t even look at people when I talked to them. I felt like such an outcast.”

Kendall notes that her struggle began around eighth or ninth grade. Thankfully, she had the guidance of her famous older sisters to help her get through this struggle. “My older sisters always told me to keep my hands off my face and never pick,” she said.

Kendall admits that she underwent Laser Genesis, but wants her fans to know that her acne was not something that was fixed overnight.

“It wasn’t anything that happened overnight,” she explained. “Even after things started to clear up, it took a solid amount of time to be okay with my skin and gain back my confidence. I realized that it’s a part of life for some people and it doesn’t define who you are.”

Who would have thought that the fashionista who covers so many magazines and has a major beauty campaign with Estee Lauder was so, well, normal?
