When we were teenagers we had visions and assumptions of a perfect life in our 20s. Envisioning our life to be like a scene from a cool sitcom. Did we live up to our expectations or was it just a mirage? Check out our expectations of our 20s vs, how it really turned out.

Complete Independence:

When we imagined growing up and going to college we thought we wouldn’t need any assistance from our parents. In our mind we were grown-ups and grown-ups didn’t need to ask their parents for money right?

Expectation

Reality:

Never-ending Closet

We would go shopping every day. There’s no price on looking good right?

Expectation:

Reality:

Partayyyyy!!!!

We would go to all the exclusive clubs and party nonstop every weekend.

Expectation:

Reality:

Fairytale Relationship:

We would meet the perfect guy fall in love and live happily ever after.

Expectation:

Reality:

Hopefully we’ll have better luck in our 30s!
