1. Major/Year:
Â
Secondary Education and English Major with a History Minor, Junior
Â
2. Hometown:
Â
Dedham, MA
Â
3. Why you chose Clemson University:
Â
I’ve lived just outside of Boston my whole life, so I was really sick of the coldÂ
Â
weather. I applied to a bunch of southern schools, and my visit to Clemson madeÂ
Â
me fall in love!
Â
4. Favorite thing about writing for Her Campus Clemson?Â
Â
I’ve just started writing for Her Campus but I already love it. As an EnglishÂ
Â
major, I’m constantly writing academic essays for my classes. Her CampusÂ
Â
Clemson lets me create fun pieces that I wouldn’t otherwise get the chance toÂ
Â
write.
Â
Â
5. What else are you involved in on campus?
Â
I am a brother of Phi Sigma Pi national honor fraternity. Joining PSP was theÂ
Â
best decision I’ve made at Clemson! My brothers are my family.Â
Â
6. Favorite Clemson restaurant/bar?
Â
I crave Osaka and Monterrey’s on a daily basis.
Â
7. What do you do in your free time?
Â
My classes are crazy, so I spend a lot of time in Cooper and Starbucks! WhenÂ
Â
I’m not studying, I love reading, writing, working out, shopping, cooking, andÂ
Â
binge watching reality TV.
Â
8. Celebrity crush?
Â
Chris PrattÂ
Â
Â
9. Favorite Clemson Tradition?
Â
It’s hard to pick because I love all Clemson traditions! Probably, any footballÂ
Â
related ones would be my first choice though.
Â
10. Ideal/best first date you have been on?
Â
I’m pretty simple when it comes to that kind of stuff. The best first date I’veÂ
Â
gone on was just a dinner at a good restaurant. I think it’s more about theÂ
Â
person than the actual date itself.Â
Â
11. What do you want to do in your career?
Â
Right now, my degree is for teaching, and education is super important to me.Â
Â
After graduation, though, there are a few different paths I could take, so I’mÂ
Â
still deciding!
Â
12. Current favorite fashion trend?
Â
Fall is approaching so I’d have to say oversized sweaters. They’re so comfy!
Â
13. What fun things did you do this summer?
Â
I work at a really yummy ice cream shop in Boston, so I spent most of myÂ
Â
summer scooping. On my days off, I spent a lot of time in a little beach townÂ
Â
called York, Maine.
