I’m sure we are all too eager for Thanksgiving break: to get home to family, friends, home cooked meals, the dog, etc. As wonderful as that all sounds, I’m also way too excited for all of the movies coming out this month and will probably be spending a lot of my free time at the movie theater. I thought I would share the ones on my list so I can possibly add some motivation to get you through the next few weeks:
Spectre
I have not always been a James Bond fan, but I watched Skyfall a couple Thanksgivings ago when it came out and I loved it, so I have high expectations for this one!

Release Date: November 6, 2015
The Peanuts Movie
I have always loved the old Peanuts specials. I’m a little nervous about it being remade into a full length movie, but the storyline sounds quite touching: Charlie Brown trying to gain more confidence, specifically for a girl that moved in next door.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2
I’ve been a big Hunger Games fan from the start, so I’m sad to see the last one arrive. I think they’ve done a great job with all the movies, but I know this one will be pretty intense and I don’t know if I’m emotionally ready.

Release Date: November 20, 2015
The Danish Girl
This is one that I am most excited for. I fell in love with Eddie Redmayne when I first saw him in Les Miserables. He continued to amaze me in The Theory of Everything, and now he’s at it again in The Danish Girl, where he plays an artist who is one of the first to undergo a sex-change operation.

Release Date: November 27, 2015
So after a long day of Black Friday shopping, eating or sleeping, sneak some Thanksgiving leftovers in your bag and head to your nearest theater for one of these movies that I’m sure won’t disappoint!
