HC: What is your favorite thing about UNCW?
KY: The campus is big enough to meet new people every day, but at the same time, run into someone you know everywhere you go. (And living a few steps away from the beach is a plus!)
Â
HC: What are some of your interests and hobbies?
KY: Playing guitar/singing/pretending I’ll be on tour one day, photography, traveling, attempting to be a local at Wrightsville Beach, and hockey.
Â
HC: Describe your ideal date.
KY: Chipotle and a hockey game.
Â
HC: Tell me about one of your favorite moments/times at UNCW.
KY: If I had to pick a single favorite moment at UNCW it would be the “snow” storm we got my Sophomore year. There was only an inch of ice, but everyone who lived in the Crossing sledded down the parking deck–something I never thought would happen in Wilmington.
Â
HC: What are you involved in on campus?
KY: UNCW MEDLIFE, Alpha Gamma Delta, Pre-Dental Club, and Study Abroad Ambassadors.
Â
HC: What is one piece of advice you would give to a freshman?
KY: You are more than a grade; you are a person. Take a step back and look at the larger picture. Work hard, but also spend time making memories that will last a lifetime.Â
Â
HC: What is a song that describes you?
KY: Hopeless Wanderer by Mumford and SonsÂ
Â
HC: Favorite kind of pizza?
KY: Veggie Pizza–I like vegetables and I like the idea of being healthy, but pizza exists…so it’s the best of both worlds.
