As the holiday season approaches, we all think we are going to have time to make beautifully crafted gifts that deserve their own special place in the Pinterest hall of fame. But, that just never happens. Instead of finding yourself scanning the picked over gift card rack for a last minute gift, consider some of these to get you by:

·         Something only your best friend could appreciate: A mason jar full of all the marshmallows found in a box of Lucky Charms.

·         A framed photograph of yourself… After all, your presence is the greatest of presents.

·         A homemade ugly Christmas sweater: bust out the glitter, tinsel, felt, and hot glue gun.

·         Hit the grocery store and pick up a Piñata. Who doesn’t love piñatas? It’s the gift that keeps on giving.

·         Mason jar baked goodies: with a little ribbon and a puffy paint snowman on the glass, you can give your store bought chocolate chip cookie mix a holiday ready make-over.

·         Anything in a festive mason jar: a mani-pedi kit, hot cocoa mix, tea assortments…

·         If all else fails, Amazon Prime 2-day shipping is always your friend.
