1. Not getting involved in anything
Clubs are a great way to meet people you have common interests with. Don’t end up being stuck in your room watch Netflix 24/7.
2. Getting too involved
On the other side of that, spreading yourself too thinly will lead to lots of stress.
3. Not knowing where your classes are before hand
There’s always the confused freshman wandering around campus map in hand, asking upperclassmen for directions.
4. Schedule Classes on Friday morning
In college, the weekend starts thursday night. So you won’t want to be stuck in class the next morning trying not to fall asleep.
5. Sitting in the Back Row in the Lecture Hall
If you want decent grades you’ll have a much better shot of paying attention sitting near the front couple rows. Otherwise you’ll probably spend the class period shopping online or pinteresting— or watching your classmate in the row ahead of you do these things.
6. Buying all your Books Brand New
You can save so much money renting your books or even buying the used ones.
7. Repeatedly locking yourself out of your dorm room
And then having to walk to the front desk to get a new key, in a towel, cause you were just in the shower.
