San Diego doesn’t seem to want Fall weather to happen because lately it’s still been perfect beach weather! Here at UCSD, we are so blessed to have the beach 10 minutes from campus. The closest beach is Black’s Beach, but unless you’re willing to brave the walk down the steep cliff near Gliderport, we recommend taking the shuttle to Scripps Pier! Scripps Beach is close enough to school for easy access and usually isn’t too tourist-y so you can relax and soak up the sun. It’s also right next to one of the best brunch restaurants in La Jolla, Caroline’s. So if you’re looking for a quick beach afternoon, head down to Scripps and enjoy the view of the ocean and downtown La Jolla on the way!
