YouTubers That Want You to Be Body Positive

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UW Stout chapter.

YouTube has been a place you’ve gone to find a tutorial for a perfect cateye or to get your fashion fix. It’s easy to find your usual back-to-school and how-to videos.  There are some YouTubers that have broken that mold and have spoken out, sharing their own stories. These girls are all about body positivity and want you to love yourselves.

Anastasjia Louise

This quirky girl is a free spirit. Anastasjia has videos from how she does her mermaid hair to her latest clothing hauls. But she also has a lot of videos on mental health, healing, and veganism. Anastasjia is open about sharing her experiences with anxiety, and coming to love yourself.

Loey Lane

Loey is a beauty and fashion vlogger, although that isn’t all she talks about. Loey has many videos about self-confidence and lifestyle topics. She is all about self-love and appreciating all body types. There is no body shaming on her channel, and she wants people to know that all shapes and sizes are beautiful.

Isabella Wight

Isabella got her start on her blog Views of Now. She is known for amazing style and gorgeous photos. Her channel is about much more than that: Isabella has done several videos about her journey with an eating disorder. She wanted to share her story to help those who have faced similar situations.

Olivia is a Professional Communications in Emerging Media student at the University of Wisconsin - Stout. Currently the Campus Correspondent for Stout's chapter, she hopes to find a career in journalism. Originally from Milwaukee, Olivia has put her city life on hold to follow her dreams. You can follow her at her Instagram or blog, Olivia Marie.
