On Tuesday, December 1, OSU kicked off the holiday season with the fourth annual Fanfare of Lights celebration. Local elementary and middle school choirs sang traditional Christmas tunes, and the OSU Chamber Choir and OSU Trumpet Choir also performed. OSU Student Government Association representative Chris Stockton paid tribute to Remember the 4 and to the victims of the tragic Homecoming Parade accident, and Ann Hargis lit up the campus at 8 o’clock. Festivities continued for the children of the community in the Student Union Ballroom, as they all lined up to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus. Eskimo Joe even made an appearance! The night was most definitely a success, and a wonderful way to get some Christmas spirit flowing around campus.
