What is your favorite thing about UW?

The government publications, maps, microfilms and newspaper collection on the ground floor of Suzzallo.

In your free time, what do you do for fun?

Watch movies, learn bits of new languages, plan my (friendly, non-agressive) domination of the world, read and take long walks on the Burke-Gilman Trail.

Tell us a little bit about the organizations you’re involved with on campus.

I am involved with the Peer Health Educators, a group of students who volunteer and facilitate workshops about health issues to groups all over campus.

What inspired your passion to be a Peer Health Educator?

Beyond wanting to interact more with the campus community, the PHE program allowed and countinues to allow me to be a resource to my peers by equipping me with evidence-based knowledge on things that effect not only my own life but other students’ health.

What do you plan on doing when you graduate?

Graduate school for an Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology!

College Sophomore. Anthropology and Arabic major. Harry Potter (and pop culture) nerd.
