What organizations are you involved in at VCU?
I am heavily involved in Camp Kesem and Helping Honduras.
What drew you to Camp Kesem?
I first heard about Camp Kesem VCU’s Preview Day, and then learned more about the non-profit organization during the SOVO Fair. My father died from cancer. The resources available to me as a child did not provide a place for me to go and have a support system. This the main reason why I want to bring a sense of community and understanding to kids.
Where would you like to see Camp Kesem in one year?
I would definitely love to see it grow even more than it already has. Hopefully double or triple in growth. The more people who get involved, the more the community gets involved. I would also like to raise enough money for three kids to attend camp for free.
Are there any upcoming events you would like us to know about?
There are always events going on in order to raise money! The best way to stay updated is to follow our social media sites.
What or who inspires you to keep going everyday?
My brother. He is always so happy and sees the good in everyone.

What is your dream job?
My ultimate dream job would be to own my own business and do event planning.
What fashion or beauty trend are you obsessed with right now?
I have been really into Lululemon. The whole 90s trend has also been appealing to me. I love being able to wear an oversized sweater and pairing it with converse.
If you had a full 48 hours to do whatever you wanted, what would you spend it doing?
Probably sleeping. I feel like I never sleep! And shopping. Shop, sleep repeat.
