Signs You Are Almost in TigerTown
Â
As students, we will make the trek to and from Clemson multiple times over theÂ
Â
course of our four (or five) years. It becomes a routine and a pattern. We feel weÂ
Â
would be able to find our way blindfolded (though I don’t recommend that if you areÂ
Â
the one driving…safety first). We feel we know the landscape of these hills like theÂ
Â
actual back of our hand. So to help those who have yet to memorize the roads thatÂ
Â
lead home, let me help you with some signs you are almost in TigerTown.Â
Â
1) Long sections of interstate that stretch for miles
Â
Â
2) Multiple texts from your college besties counting down the minutes until y’allÂ
Â
are reunited
Â
3) Trees, lots of trees
Â
Â
4) Every other car has at least one Clemson bumper sticker
Â
Â
5) Passing through the big city of Greenville
Â
Â
6) Getting of exit 19B
Â
Â
7) Passing the Smokin Pig
Â
Â
8) The Experimental Forest
Â
Â
9) The orange pawprints on the road
Â
Â
10) The Clemson snapchat geofilters reappearing when you open the snaps
Â
Â
11) Spotting Tillman
Â
Â
12) Driving up to your dorm
Â
Â
13) Uncontainable joy billowing in your chest at being in TigerTown, our homeÂ
Â
away from home <3
