Typically shopping at Target 2-3 times a week, I have noticed a common trend in Target shoppers. Thanks to my slight addiction, here are the seven most common customers:

1. The Adventurer

This is the person who is a risk taker but makes shopping trips entertaining. Riding bikes down the isle, having a lightsaber war, or trying to juggle boxes is a typical Target run.

2. The Free Spirit Spender

The person who firmly believes they must buy everything in the store when they really just needed shampoo. No one walks out of Target with just one thing.

3. The College Budget

The ones who have a loving relationship with the dollar section and anything with a clearance sticker. Why would anyone pay full price?

4. The Careful Thinker

This is literally the most indecisive person you will ever meet. After a thirty-minute decision between the red flannel and the blue flannel, they end up buying a gray sweater.

5. The Pro Shopper

This shopper is always in the know. They have all the shopping apps including Target’s app Cartwheel; they know when the sales start and end and they know where just about any item is located. Give them a red shirt and a nametag and they are ready to go.

6. The Social Butterfly

The one who can’t leave Target without first talking to their former teacher, mom’s co-worker, and friend from high school.

7. The Wanderer

The shopper that always drifts off from the people they came with, only to walk around the store like a lost puppy until they find their friends again.
