Center City Restaurant Week: Amada

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Drexel chapter.

If you’re looking for a taste of authentic Spanish cuisine and a very satisfying dinner, head to Amada at 2nd and Chestnut streets. Its Restaurant Week menu offers a wide variety of options.

For the first course, I got the Aged Manchego Cheese with a splash of truffle lavender honey and a thin slice of apple. I also tried the Ham Croquetas (pictured above), which were melt-in-your-mouth good.

For the second course, I tried the Costillas de Ternera, juicy beef short ribs with horseradish, parmesan, and bacon (pictured above.) I also got the Piquillos Rellenos, which are crab-stuffed peppers.

To finish off my delicious (and surprisingly filling!) meal, I had Tarta de Chocolate, chocolate cake with orange.

I was too excited to take pictures of my dishes, but thankfully there were plenty online to choose from. Be sure to stop by Amada, where the food is so good that you won’t have time to take pictures of it!
