On Saturday night, the UConn men’s basketball team took on Tulsa at Gampel Pavillion in what turned out to be a very close game, with the Huskies pulling ahead with a final score of 75-73. Aside from the excitement of the Huskies dominating the court, one of the most memorable moments of the night occurred during halftime. Caron Butler, a UConn alumnus, was honored as the newest member of the Huskies of Honor. Butler was extremely honored, recalling a fond moment with former Head Coach Jim Calhoun in his speech saying, “I remembered something Coach had said before I left school. “You’re going to be a part of a family for life”. He was right.”

Congratulations Caron, and go Huskies!
