2016 appears to be the year of many TV shows getting revivals or reunions. One of the most talked about revivals coming out this year is “Fuller House” a revival of the show “Full House” that aired on TV from the late 1980s to the mid 1990s. The first season of the new hit show is set to be released on Netflix on February 26th, and people could not be more excited. A few days ago, the newest full-length trailer for the show premired on The Ellen Show, and it gave viewers a taste as to what the show is going to be about.

The trailer shows the oldest Tanner daughter, D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure), moving into her old childhood house with her three sons, after the death of her husband. Much like the original series, she enlists the help of her family and friends to help her raise her young sons. Sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber), are more than willing to help D.J. with her children, just like Jesse and Joey helped Danny with the three girls in the original series. Much to the excitement of “Full House” fans, all of the original catchphrases from the old show, such as “How rude!” and “Cut it out!” will be returning, as will the other original characters such as Danny, Jesse, Joey, Becky, and Nicky and Alex. Probably the most exciting part is the return of Steve, D.J’s boyfriend. His return could lead to some questions arising in viewers: since D.J. is a widowed mother, could this be a time for her and Steve to rekindle their romance? If so, could it lead to something more? This is one of many questions many “Full House” fans have, which makes the anticipation for the new show keep growing.

So grab your friends, computer, and good snacks, and make sure you tune in to watch “Fuller House” when the new season is released on Netflix on February 26th. To watch the trailer in full, click here.
