Brownies are one of the hardest desert cravings to satisfy. Typical recipes always call for eggs (what college student has eggs?) and baking in the oven for over 30 minutes. Even if you have the patience to wait, by the time the brownies are done all of your hall-mates will appear asking for “just one” and the next thing you know, you’re out of brownies. Luckily, we have the perfect solution to your brownie craving! Imagine a recipe for a single serving brownie (yes, a brownie just for YOU) in your favorite mug baked in less than 90 seconds! Here’s what you’ll need:

2 tablespoons butter, melted in the mug

2 tablespoons water

¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

1 dash of salt

4 tablespoons granulated sugar

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

4 tablespoons all purpose flour

After the butter is melted in the mug, throw in all the ingredients and mix well. Place the mug in the microwave for about 65-85 seconds.

For even more fun, add your favorite toppings such as hot chocolate sauce, sprinkles or chocolate chips. This is one the best late night snacks because we all know that nothing is better or more comforting than a hot, gooey brownie. So next time you have a chocolaty craving, try out this recipe and remember – you always deserve a brownie!

ENJOY!
