Spring break is slowly creeping up on us collegiettes and there is no better time to catch up some reading- and we mean the good kind (put down that Communication textbook)! Whether you are escaping the tundra and going somewhere tropical or just chilling out at home, a book is the perfect way to escape and relax. Here are some must-reads for your spring break.
1.    Me Before You By Jojo Moyes
An incredibly moving story about Will, a moody yet witty quadriplegic and Louisa, his caregiver, whose bond grows stronger through their various adventures. When Will reveals shocking plans, it appears that their time together may be running out, and it is up to Louisa to give him a reason to stick around. The movie, starring Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin, is coming out this year and we all know the book is always better than the film!
2.    Tales From The Back Row By Amy Odell
A hilarious collection of short essays about life in the fashion industry by Cosmopolitan.com editor, Amy Odell, is a perfect book for any fashionista looking to work in the fashion world someday.
3.    Moloka’i By Alan Brennert
An emotional book based in Hawaii about an eleven-year-old girl named Rachel, who contracts leprosy. She is forced to live away from her family in a leprosy colony on the quarantined island of Moloka’i. A book that will keep you on your toes—break out the tissues ladies!
4.    Go Set a Watchman By Harper Lee
Harper Lee’s much-anticipated second book was bound to be a classic (anyone having flashbacks to high school English class with Scout and Atticus?). It is set in the 1950s with now grown-up Scout returning to Maycomb to visit her father, Atticus, from New York City. However, she gets more than she bargains for during this trip where she discovers hidden secrets about her town and family.
5.    The Arrangement By Ashley Warlick
The story of an intense love triangle set in 1930’s involving Mary Francis who is married to Al, but falls in love with their friend, Tim Parrish. Will her husband find out? Who will she chose? Go find out, collegiettes!
6.    If I Stay By Gayle Forman
A must-read book about a young musician named Mia whose life is in the balance after surviving a devastating car accident that kills her entire family. Mia is left with an impossible choice: whether to die or fight for her life? *Author’s note: the book is better than the movie!*
