Last week, the 2016 Grammy Awards took place, and all the hottest musicians were in sight. Being on the red carpet is probably a lot more stressful than it seems. Let’s see which celebs killed it, and which left us wanting more or less.

Best in Black:

Carrie Underwood

Looking gorgeous as usual, Carrie Underwood wore this very elegant dress by Nicolas Jebran. The bold dress featured a slit, which was sexy yet tasteful. It was a stylish red carpet favorite.

Adele

The “Hello” singer looked stunning in her all-black Givenchy dress. The glowy makeup, the sassy nails, and the simplistic hairstyle meshed together perfectly.  The only thing Adele wears better is her confidence and radiant smile.

Meghan Trainor

With this elegant black ensemble, it’s truly hard to go wrong. But what caught my attention was Trainor’s hair. I’m still getting used to it, but I guess there’s no better time to debuted a new hair-do than the Grammys.

Demi Lovato

Demi sported this black two-piece dress. It wasn’t my favorite style on the carpet, but her confidence was all that mattered.

Best of the Best:

Taylor Swift

The oh-so-edgy Taylor Swift, with her new haircut, slayed the red carpet. The absolutely gorgeous dress by Atelier Versace couldn’t have looked better on the “Bad Blood” singer. The red and pink two-piece ensemble complemented her physique very well and, paired with her infamous red lip, it couldn’t have left me more impressed!

Selena Gomez

Admittedly, I was most excited to see this BFF duo. After a very successful year for both of them, they strutted down the carpet hand in hand. Doing it all right, Selena looked dazzling in her purple sequined Calvin Klein dress. The dress was fitted and featured a super-sexy crisscross back. Well done! Bieber – we know you’re watching.

Ariana Grande

The “Focus” singer is forever stunning. Despite her little trip-up on the carpet, miss Grande looked red-hot in this dress by Roma Keveza. I noticed Ari ditched the usual curl for a flat ironed hairstyle. Overall, Ariana looked very sophisticated.

Tori Kelly

Could she look any more beautiful?  Tori Kelly’s dress pleasantly surprised me. I’m generally not a big fan of green, but the “Hollow” singer proved me wrong and looked very elegant in her emerald gown.

Ellie Goulding

The “On my Mind” singer swept the red carpet in her baby pink dress by Stella McCartney. The simplicity of the front makes for a surprising yet attractive sling back.

Kaylee Cuoco

Pulling off a jumpsuit is a task in itself, but a jumpsuit with cut-outs is a real job. However, Cuoco did it, all smiles. Kaylee showed off her awesome bod and was sparkling perfection in this one piece by Naeem Khan. Definitely one of the best dressed that evening.

Eye Catchers:

Zendaya

Zendaya, one of my fashion icons, is known for her bold yet classy style that sometimes pushes boundaries –  but did she try to be a little too bold with the hairstyle she was trying to rock this year? To be honest, her mullet, not her outfit, got all the attention. All I could think about was how it was really a cross between her 2014 and 2015 Grammy looks.

Lady Gaga

Gaga never fails to deliver a shock factor. This year she made a tribute to David Bowie, wearing a hard-to-miss, custom Marc Jacobs coat and extremely high red heels. Gaga’s known for her extraordinary outfits, so this was no surprise.

Cutest Couples:

Chrissy Teagan and John Legend

Beyoncé and Jay-Z better watch out, because this power couple is on the rise. These two never fail to compliment each other and were nothing but smiles all night long. The supermodel showed of her bump in an all white gown, and John, full of character, sported a dotted suit jacket.

Bella Hadid and The Weeknd

The Weeknd had a very successful Grammys evening, and Bella Hadid, in Alexandre Vauthier, had all the attention on her. The two looked were a fierce force to be reckoned with in their all-black ensembles.

Justin Bieber and Jaxon

Can I get an “aww”?! I have to admit that Bieber and his little brother looked absolutely adorable.  The “Sorry” singer kept it very classy. Both of them were striking the cutest poses and I loved their complementing classic suits. Nice work, Bieber –  lookin’ all grown up!

Pharrell Williams and Helen Lasichanah

This couple complements each other very well. Each expressing their own style, Pharrel and Helen’s cute quirkiness came out in their outfits for the evening.

This was my take on some of the fashion at the 2016 Grammy Awards! Who did you find red carpet ready?
