It is officially spring training season for major league baseball, which means there are a lot of thoughts and emotions that every baseball fan goes through until opening day. Here are just a few.
1. When you can’t decided whether or not to listen to the early playoff predictions.
I’ll only listen if you say my team is going to win the World Series.
2. When you’re watching a spring training game and remember one of your favorite players got traded during the off-season.
There are plenty of other second basemen in the sea!
3. Reuniting with your baseball buddies.
It’s been a long winter.
4. Trying to prove that you’re talented enough to be at spring training.
It’s not in your head, you’re obviously just as good at batting as that rookie.
5. Celebrating a spring training game win…
6. Then remembering it doesn’t count towards the season!
7. Seeing all your favorite players again after too much time apart.
“Reunited and it feels so good!”
8. Getting back into the routine of your game day superstitions.
It’s not weird if it works.
9. “This guy’s definitely not making the final roster!”
Don’t quit your day job! Oh, wait…awk.
10. Impatiently counting down until opening day.
“Is it time yet?”
