Loyola’s Student Government President is Running for a Second Term

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at LUC chapter.

Described by her friends as someone who “constantly strives to be a person for others”, Mariana Chavez is going to give SGLC Presidency another go. After being sworn in as Vice President last year and taking over as President last semester, she doesn’t feel like her job is complete. She’s not only President but she keeps herself busy in other areas of campus as well. She’s a proud member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, an avid supporter of the Magis Scholarship Fund, community volunteer, and strives in her academics.
