If you are constantly hooked up to a Starbucks IV, you will be happy to learn that your favorite coffee shop is about to do more than satisfy your caffeine cravings.

Starbucks announced on Tuesday that they are launching a new program called FoodShare. The initiative will allow 7,600 Starbucks stores across the U.S. to donate surplus food that would otherwise be thrown away.

With the help of Food Donation Connection and Feeding America, Starbucks is creating this program in hope of helping the nearly 50 million Americans who struggle with hunger ever day.

They are anticipating that FoodShare will provide approximately 5 million meals in the first year. Starbucks also plans to expand the program over the next five years and integrate it into all of its stores. What does that mean? It means that by 2021 they will have donated nearly 50 million meals.

As if we couldn’t love you anymore than we already do, Starbucks.
