The annual Manayunk Food Festival kicks off this Sunday April 10th from 11AM and 5PM. The Food Festival has everything from BBQ to dessert. This food all comes from over the best 50 food trucks of Philadelphia. In addition to the savory food from the food trucks, you can buy homemade oils, spices, and jams from the gourmet vendors. There were also be lots of fresh vegetables and fruit as well as taste dishes showcasing this year’s spring food-strawberries.
After eating all the delicious food the festival has to offer, you can stroll the street and do some shopping from the local business. And if shopping isn’t for you, Live Music will be played at Green Lane, Cotton Street, and Shurs Lane.
Unfortunately, this fun day is only on Sunday. However, it is the Kick off for the Spring Manayunk Restaurant week. Restaurant week is food filled fantastic week where the finest restaurants of Manayunk will be offering three course meals at only $15, $25, and $35! Restaurant week stars April 11 and ends April 22.
