Let’s talk about why the AI Finale was everything we needed and more.
We know Queen Kelly couldn’t be there, but she still did a pre-taped medley of her greatest hits which was ~probably~ the highlight of my life– er, i mean, the night. That needs to go on iTunes, like, yesterday. Plus, she gave us the absolute CUTEST video of River Rose saying “bye” to idol.
Two words: Brian. Dunkleman. Those who have been with Idol since the beginning remember Dunkleman as Seacrest’s sidekick who didn’t come back for season two. “Looks like after tonight you’re out of a job,” he told Seacrest. Ahh, we missed that sense of humor, Dunk!
THIS HAPPENED. Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell, and Ryan Seacrest. The OG dawgs of Idol. So amazing to see them back together again.
